McEvans announces his presence, bringing a new love and soulful sounds to fans with the release of his long-awaited first album, Lu2. The firstcoming record is a follow-up to his 2019 self-titled EMC19 and is set to be released on September 22, 2019.
Along with the album announcement, 23rd September also marks the 'The Love Doctor's' Birthday Dreaming premiering exclusively via Google board.
McEvans recorded most of Lu2 in the EMF studio in Elubo with engineer Bra Mirl, Kojo Lee and Monster.
Lu2 is composed of 12 tracks that McEvans and spans over lovesongs like “Care for me ” to the Highlife “Wonder Love ,” to the 'Afrobeat '
Since McEvans Dreaming His relaxing chillout style remains present yet matured, with a more refined worldview, “Truly, we didn’t expect the whole album to turn so well, especially having in mind that we have been recording it for just a year. The new songs are inspired by some great life-changing events in my life, including some love and hate experiences.
And while each song varies in tone, they all are originals and circle back to one universal theme. “Lu2 is a soul-filled, catchy collection of reminders that love, harmony, diversity, and unity can co-exist in our modern world,” says McEvans .
