Akua Anese IT Tutorials, University of Mines and Technology (UMaT)

 

Akua Anese, a Student of University of Mines and Technology who studies Computer Science Engineering (BSc) is set to be organising an IT tutorials for all of the students of the University, UMaT.  The course is basically on Graphic designing and video editing.

 Miss Bridgette Akua Anese, was the first runner up of the maiden ICT workshop for female tertiary students for Girls-in-ICT tertiary programme in Accra.
The training is aimed at giving the Girls an exposure that opens to them to the world of possibilities through ICTs.

The TESCON Vice president,  Akua Anese did a survey on UMaT campus with her team and  found out how most of the students have interest in learning Graphic designing and video editing.  Based on her survey she decided to organize a free training course for her fellow students to also at least get the opportunity to learn these and many more.The training is going to commence on

Akua Anese made her intentions clear on her interest of becoming the next SRC president of the University. "I wouldn't want to end my leadership on just being the TESCON vice president,  but I also want to assume the position of the SRC president next academic year".
Base on her aspirations she edged some of the students to back her so that she can do more of the good work she's doing.
